Lakewood Community Services

The LPOA Community Services Department (formerly called Lakewood Patrol) is tasked with patrolling Lakewood neighborhoods and common areas to be extra eyes and ears for our residents. A patrol vehicle is on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Their primary duty is that of a high-profile neighborhood watch and to assist the Lee's Summit Police Department when asked. The department also patrols the common areas, lakes, etc. to ensure that those amenities are being used by the Lakewood residents who pay for them, and not by non-residents.

Lakewood Community Services also provides Water Patrol during the Summer months (May-September) to ensure residents usage, boating safety and regulation compliance on Lakewood lakes. Additionally, Lakewood Community Services is directly responsible for ensuring that all residents abide by all ARB/ARC rules and regulations. All approved alterations and improvements are monitored to see that improvements are made in a timely manner and in accordance with the approved plans.

Community Services also assists members who have items in the storage lot. Residents who wish to place an item in or take an item out of the storage lot may call 373.1500 to make arrangements for a Community Services staff member to meet them at the lot.
