The General Manager of the LPOA is responsible for numerous and varied duties in the areas of maintenance, patrol, food and beverage operations, administration and lake management, much like that of a small to medium size city.

The Administrative Department which is located in the Bayview Clubhouse, provides many services to LPOA members. Among these services are: membership records, accounting, boat registration, marina administration, alteration review application processing and I.D. card issuance. Administration also publishes the LAKEWOOD RIPPLES, a monthly magazine which is the official form of communication to LPOA members. Communication with LPOA members is an important function of the Administrative Department.
